MNM Youth Football takes a positive learning approach rather than a ‘win at all costs’ focus. In the modern day environment of competition, it is important for youth to learn the values of sportsmanship, hard work, and determination.
While players are encouraged to do their best on every down, game scores are neither recorded nor announced on the field, and the league has no standings.

When registering for Youth Football, the player's grade level is the grade they will be entering in the Fall.

In the first week of practice tackle players will not be wearing any football equipment. Coaches may require the helmet as optional but players are required to wear the Scheels T-Shirt. Flag players can wear their uniform and pants at anytime or the Scheels T-Shirt. During this week coaches will teach fundamentals of drills and skills. In the second week equipment is required. Game jerseys can be worn at practice. Please bring plenty of water, the temps do get very hot.
WEST: Mini Tykes thru 2nd grade flag will start on Monday August 8th 5:30-6:30 at SCC fields. Grades 3rd thru 6th grade Tackle will start on Tuesday August 9th & Thursday August 11th 5:30-6:30 at SCC fields. It is after this first week that the coaches will establish the next practice dates. All coaches will contact the players on their practice areas at SCC. All 6th grade players will practice together this week and at the end the coaches will split the teams out evenly. All players then will be notified by their coach for their team for practice the next week.
EAST: Mini Tykes thru 2nd grade flag will start on Monday August 8th 5:30-6:30 at East high school football fields. Grades 3rd thru 6th tackle will practice on Tuesday & Thursday August 9th & 11th 5:30-6:30 at east high school fields. It is after this first week that the coaches will establish the next practice dates. All coaches will contact the players on their practice area at East fields. All 6th grade players will practice together and at the end of that week the coaches will put together the teams evenly. All players then will be notified by their coach about practices for the next week.
ST CLAIR: Grades 4-5-6 first practice will be on Monday August 8th 5:30-6:30 at St Clair high school. Coaches will combine all age groups for joint drills & skills that first week. Then after that teams will start practicing by individual grades. All future practices will be determined by the coaches of their teams.
LOYOLA: K thru 3rd grade first practice for all age groups will be on Monday August 8th 5:30-6:30 at Loyola field. Regular drills and skills will be taught. It will after this time that the individual grades will split out by the coaches and determined the next dates to practice on.
ST PETER: K thru 2nd grade flag first practice will be on Monday August 8th 5:30-6:30 at the high school football fields. Grades 3rd thru 6th will start practice on Tuesday August 9th 5:30-6:30 at the high school football fields. It will be up to the coaching staff to determine practices after that date.
CLEVELAND: K thru 2nd grade flag will start practice on Monday August 8th 5:30-6:30 at the high school fields. Grades 3rd thru 6th will practice on Tuesday August 9th 5:30-6:30 at the high school fields. If Cleveland does not have enough players for that age group, they will be combined with St Peter and will have to practice on the St Peter team. This will be determined by the end of July.
BLUE EARTH: Grades 3-4-5-6 will start practice on Monday August 8th 5:30-6:30 at the high school football fields. All players will be notified by their coaches on the next date and time.
FAIRMONT: Grades 4-5-6 will start practice the week of August 8th. All players will be notified by their coach on the exact date, location, and time.
